Who I am.

Hello and welcome! My name is Micheal Hall. More than 30 years ago, I first entered professional photography as a high school student when I began working for a local photographer who specialized in sports team and individual photography. I was hired on to assist and to specialize in what I was already doing on my own — capturing athletes in action.

I grew up with a camera in my hand and a darkroom in my home. Throughout my teen years, I spent thousands of hours under the amber lights of an alternating broiling hot or freezing cold darkroom in our garage and loved every minute of it.

In 2001 — having already been a photographer for nearly a decade — I decided it was time for me to start my own studio.

Now, 20 years later, I have traveled the U.S. and to Europe as a photographer — in particular specializing in volleyball photography (www.vbpics.com), but maintaining my skills in photographing all sorts of action.
